To put it simply, the Martingale is the SAFEST dog collar made. When properly fitted, your dog cannot back out or pull out of a Martingale.

The collar slides over the head and can then be adjusted to fit the neck; you should be able to slide two fingers beneath the collar to allow for comfort as your dog moves.

Your lead attaches to a ring that tightens the collar on the neck, without choking, when your dog pulls, and prevents your dog from slipping out of his collar.
